Spin Coating is a standard laboratory procedure which involves depositing thin films of materials, often polymers, uniformly on flat substrates by employing the concept of centrifugal force. The substrate needs to be rotated at high speed to achieve the desired thickness of the coating material.
Easy to use, safe and inexpensive, this method is extremely desirable for many applications where high quality of layers are required. Despite of the process simplicity, several experimental and theoretical investigations appeared in the literature explaining the dependence of the spin coating process on the electrical, optical and morphological characteristics of the films.In such a way that the control of the fluid flow and the fluid evaporation are essential to meet uniform thin films.Since both contribute to the overall rate of the thinning during spinning of the fluid on the substrate.For example, if there are no evaporation of the solvent, the film thickness at long time varies with spin speed and time.While in the presence of constant or variable solvent evaporation rates,Steady-State film thickness obeys h α Ω - ⅔ or h α Ω - ½.

spinNXG-P1A
SpinNXG-P1A is based on the performance and accuracy of SpinNXG-P1 with Teflon coated working chamber of 8 inches diameter. Besides it comes equipped with higher memory storage. It has 15 preset editable programs, each program has 20 steps to be used during multi-speed spin coating process. Thus it gives the user the freedom to use different programs for different protocol of experiment.
EZspin-A2
Handling larger substrates is no longer an issue in spin coating. Here comes the EZspin-A2 with 250mm diameter of working chamber which can accommodate various substrate sizes. It’s adjustable speed range from 50 - 12000 RPM provides flexibility for various coating requirements.
Safety becomes a significant concern when dealing with high angular momentum. Thus, EZspin-A2 comes pre-loaded with integrated Lid-sensor ensuring safety during the coating process.
